Lumina Capital Partners was founded by Christopher Price and Shariann Carlo with a single conviction: wellness hospitality is the most undervalued and fastest-growing segment in luxury travel, and the right operators can build extraordinary value by acquiring boutique properties and transforming them into world-class wellness destinations.
Chris and Shari met at a boutique hotel conference and immediately connected over a shared obsession with wellness, biohacking, short-term rentals, operational excellence, and the future of wellness hospitality. They quickly realized they had the same vision and perfectly complementary strengths — Chris on deal sourcing, investor relations, and revenue optimization; Shari on operations, technology, and the luxury guest experience.
What makes them different is simple: they live the wellness lifestyle every single day. Health, fitness, mindset, and intentional living are core to how they operate their lives and their business. Christopher Price is a hospitality operator, real estate investor, and investor relations leader who built Signature Stays into a 30+ luxury property portfolio spanning Southern California and Western Washington. His focus has always been on value-add: identifying underperforming short-term rental and hospitality properties, diagnosing what is broken, and transforming them into top-performing assets. Chris leads deal sourcing, acquisition strategy, investor relations, and asset management for Lumina Capital Partners.

Shariann Carlo brings five years of diverse entrepreneurial and operational experience to Lumina Capital Partners. With a background in graphic design, land acquisitions, and operations management at a cutting-edge technology company, Shari has built a career defined by creative problem-solving and operational excellence. As COO of Signature Stays, Shari built proprietary technology that leverages AI to optimize operations at scale. She leads operations, technology, and the guest wellness experience for Lumina.
